AVT Natural has a good track record of logistics in assembling the raw material transportation and preserving the ingredients in the produce. The excellent preprocessing centers at respective locations, adds value by improving the process, thereby reducing the ingredients losses in the process chain.

The pre-processed raw material is then transported to Cochin where AVT Natural has a state of an art extraction facility. The continuous plant can handle more than 55 tons\per day raw material. The extraction facility matches with the global food safety standards and has the prestigious ISO 9001-2000. HACCP, AIBI certifications to its credit. We are also a vendor certified unit of Kemin Foods, the world's largest producer of lutien from marigold.

Traceability

The other main strength of AVT Natural in Marigold business is the traceability from the farmer to the finished product and the stringent quality checks throughout the process. With the services of 485 professionals in our Collection and Extension teams we are pioneers and key players in Backward Integration making us one of the least cost producers of Marigold in the world.

China Operations

To de-risk the vagaries of nature and to offer a two country option to our customers, AVT Natural Products Ltd (AVT, NPL) plans to set up a Marigold plantation and processing unit in China. We have entered the Chinese market by setting up our representative office at Beijing. With the Chinese operations we are foraying into backward integration and other novel business opportunities outside India. The low cost of production and favorable climatic conditions have further reinforced our decision.
